Simon McCaskill - Lead Trainer
Simon is an expert in digital marketing. Offering online advice from strategy to website build, he specialises in pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and search engine optimisation (SEO), and has worked with blue chip clients such as ASDA, Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover and Hugo Boss. Simon is Google Adwords Certified and a Google Partner.
Christine Braithwaite - Trainer
Christine is a data marketing professional with expertise in data, metrics and measurement. She has a passion for ensuring that small businesses and charities have access to the same expertise as larger ones. She find her creative outlet within email campaigns, enjoys working with the written word and works part time for a children’s literacy charity.
Anya Bramich - Trainer
Anya has over 15 years’ experience in Brand Management, PR, events, advertising and digital marketing. As a qualified web designer and Google Squared graduate, Anya has been responsible for the online presence of projects in arts and tourism, inward investment, charity sector and currently works at an automotive technology consultancy.
Dave Ray - Trainer
Dave began studying SEO at University in 2009 and has worked in Search and Digital Marketing ever since. He is an expert in trends and technologies that guarantee the highest search listings. He is also PGCE trained to deliver IT classes to degree level students, giving him an insight into engaging broad audiences.
David Sime - Trainer
David has over 17 years of experience in digital, creative and strategic marketing. He founded his own marketing consultancy (Ice to Eskimo Marketing) and has had Director roles at a number of firms including Visage Glasgow, Contact Online Ltd, A. Vogel UK and Total Therapy Group Ltd. He is currently undergoing a Chartered Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and is a qualified lecturer in Marketing and Business Development.
Kathy Allen - Trainer
Kathy specialises in marketing strategy in new businesses, delivering campaigns across channels including digital and events. She believes in the importance of excellent communication in business, honing her skills as mentor and trainer at the Newcastle Digital Garage. She has worked particularly with charities, raising awareness and generating income.
Laura Martinez - Trainer
Laura has 14 years’ marketing experience within the private and charity sector in both London and Madrid. She has worked in Marketing and Fundraising for Amnesty International and in the Branding Department at Nokia. She excels in problem solving and has experience building websites from scratch and re-branding online shops.
Lewis Husbands - Trainer
Lewis has worked in digital marketing for over 6 years and was part of the UK’s first case study for Google’s Dynamic Search Campaigns before the feature was widely released. He has worked with the likes of Reed, JD Sports and Center Parcs. He has experience in most Google products including Analytics and Search Console as well as social media Management, CMS and paid social.
Michael Took - Trainer
Michael became vastly experienced in Google Analytics and Adwords through his work as Editor of Welsh arts website What’s on Wales. He built extremely effective keyword campaigns in order to reach worldwide audiences as well as monitoring web traffic. He has consulted for a number of organisations such as the Welsh National Opera and The Institute of Civil Engineers.
Sam Roads - Trainer
Sam Roads is a writer, entrepreneur, musician and game designer, based in Cardiff, UK. He trained as a composer at UWCC, owns four businesses, and has won two international Origins awards for game development. His digital skills are focused by his own experiences running small businesses, and include specialisations in business goals, web design and Facebook.

Having completed her Marketing and Advertising Management degree she has worked in the events, hospitality, travel and lifestyle sectors.
